👨🏼💼 Work experience
Graduate Data & Research Analyst
Indiana University, Bloomington, IN – (Mar 2020 - Present)
- Delivering analyses for a graduate pilot program as part of the Association of American Universities Initiative
- Conducting research studies to inform policy development and strategic initiatives for faculty, campus initiatives, program assessment and student experiences at Indiana University by utilizing statistical techniques
Student MVP Intern
Grant Thornton LLC, Bloomington, IN – (Jan 2020 - Mar 2020)
- Engineered a probabilistic approach for a Regulatory Intelligence Management system resulting in faster drug approval rates by utilizing KPI identification in RIM metrics and streamlining regulatory roadmap
Decision Scientist
Mu Sigma Business Solutions, Bangalore, India – (Oct 2017 - Apr 2019)
- Engineered an Intelligent Reporting (IR) system into production to perform real-time anomaly detection, root cause analysis and automated insight generation for 250+ stores across North America, which was reported on a weekly cadence to top level stakeholders and product owners resulting in $160 million impact to revenue and better market understanding
- Designed and developed an ETL pipeline that unified processes across 6 platforms into one centralized location and resulted in reduction of man hours from 6 days to 4 hours and enabled better decisions for buyer and planner teams on the client’s side
- Measured revenue lost due to product stock-outs across North America by identifying similar products and analyzing customer purchasing patterns using Random Forest algorithms and A/B Testing for evaluating pilot effectiveness. Estimated demand was ~35% higher than client’s initial estimate leading to org-wide focus on timely store replenishments
👨🏼🎓Honors: Spot Award for Excellence
Research Intern
Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India – (Jan 2017 - Jun 2017)
- Outperformed other algorithms in forecasting energy demand for a Local energy company by using time series data and developing a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) based predictive model
